We have taken action to protect your information further on our FPD Client Portal by enlisting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This will take effect on 1st November, 2025
What is MFA?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an extra security measure to help protect your data. It is a requirement to have more than one method to identify yourself to gain access to a website or platform.
How does it work?
MFA requires a combination of something only you as the user knows (eg PIN, security question), something you have (eg a card or token) or something you are (eg fingerprint).
Why use it?
MFA offers significantly more powerful security and protection of your personal data.
Someone may steal one proof of identity such as your PIN, but they will still need to obtain and use other proof to access your account.
FPD Client Portal
Our FPD Client Portal uses an Authenticator app installed on your mobile device to provide a frequently refreshing security code. When you log in to the portal with your username and password, you will be required to type in the current security code displayed in the app. The guide below will assist in setting it up.
Step 1 – Download an Authenticator app to your mobile device
- Your mobile device needs to have a camera and be compatible with the Authenticator App you choose to use
- Visit the App Store or Google Play, type Authenticator in the search. A list of Authenticator apps will appear.
- The most common apps and ones recommended by Plutosoft including Google Authenticator, Twilio Authy. Alternatively there is also Microsoft Authenticator
Step 2 – Scan the QR Code
- Log in to your Client HUB log in page – FPD Client Portal Log In
- Log in with your username and password as you have previously done
- Once you have entered the correct details and clicked Log In, you will be presented with a QR code prompting you to enrol for MFA
- Open the Authenticator App you downloaded. Depending upon the app, click on the link or the icon to scan and capture the new QR code.
- Hold your device up with the camera pointing to the QR code.
- It will automatically register and display a 6 digit code.
Step 2 – Enter the Code
- Enter the 6 digit verification code.
- You will notice that the code in your app changes at regular intervals.
- Enter the code prior to it expiring.
- Click Very and Save
Congratulations, you have completed the registration!
Each time you log in to the FPD client Portal, you will be prompted to enter the 6 digit verification code to protect your information.
Should you require any assistance, please contact our office on 1300 014 368 and we would be happy to help. You will need to register before 1st November, otherwise, you will not be able to upload information or view your information on the portal.
